It is so exciting to share that Sean Maddox has joined Spectrum Therapeutic Solutions as our Director of Operations and Programs. Sean has been extremely helpful supporting us to this phase and we are so excited to work together to do more for more.

Sean has gained a broad range of experience and skills working to support the needs of the world’s most vulnerable for 30 years. With 20 years experience working in international development and 10 years in domestic development, poverty, and mental health he knows how a small change in individuals can transform communities. He is a huge advocate for partnerships, having written and presented on the subject for decades. 

His work has taken him to all corners of Africa and the Caribbean, across the Americas, the United States and Canada. Elected by peers many times to lead regional, national, and international organizations and campaigns because of his reputation as a visionary, yet practical leader. He loves to say, “Connect the dots.”

Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts (93) from Dalhousie University and a Master of International Affairs (96) from Ohio University. He has worked in leadership roles with the Salvation Army, CODE, the Tumaini Children’s Project among others and sat on numerous boards. 

About Spectrum Therapeutic Solutions: Founded in 1989 as an occupational health service it grew to include therapeutic counselling in 2005. Founder Felicia Burchell has launched this expansion to be able to “do more, for more… knowing from experience we must treat the full individual.” Spectrum strives to meet individuals where they are at mentally and physically and map out treatment plans to achieve results. Helping individuals, families and communities become stronger and healthier.
